Pump and pump pry system supplier
Description:
The API 610 BB4 horizontal segmental multistage centrifugal pump is a between-bearings, radially split, single-casing multistage pump designed for high-head, medium-to-high-pressure and continuous-duty applications. Its suction casing, stage casings and discharge casing are assembled with high-strength tie bolts. Multiple impellers operate in series to increase the liquid pressure stage by stage.Get a Quote for Industrial Pumps Today

| Component | Typical materials |
|---|---|
| Suction, stage and discharge casings | Carbon steel, chrome steel, 12% chrome steel, austenitic stainless steel or duplex stainless steel |
| Impellers | Cast steel, stainless steel, duplex or super-duplex stainless steel |
| Shaft | High-strength alloy steel, martensitic stainless steel or duplex stainless steel |
| Diffusers | Cast steel, stainless steel or corrosion-resistant alloy |
| Shaft sleeves | Hardened stainless steel, duplex stainless steel or wear-resistant alloy |
| Wear rings | Stainless steel, hardened stainless steel or wear-resistant alloy |
| Fasteners | High-strength alloy steel or stainless steel |
| Gaskets | Spiral-wound, metal-jacketed or project-specified materials |
For seawater, chloride-containing or highly corrosive liquids, 316/316L, 2205, 2507 or other corrosion-resistant alloys are available. Final material selection shall be based on the liquid analysis, corrosion allowance and project specification.
Horizontal, between-bearings, radially split, segmental, multistage, single-casing API 610 BB4 configuration.
Series-arranged impellers generate high total differential head.
Axial thrust may be controlled by a balance disc, balance drum or combined balancing device.
Stage casings are connected by high-strength tie bolts.
Diffuser-type hydraulic passages provide stable pressure recovery.
Bearings at both ends help control shaft deflection and rotor vibration.
Rolling-element, sleeve or pressure-lubricated bearings are available.
API 682 single, dual or tandem mechanical seals can be supplied.
API seal-flushing, cooling and barrier/buffer-fluid systems are available.
Flexible coupling and common baseplate arrangement.
Optional vibration, bearing-temperature and pressure-monitoring connections.
